Our work starts from the wood, our precious wood. My great grandfather Mr Guglielmo Cantarutti started his career as a farmer in 1919, he taught us to love and respect nature. He used to tell us that each tree takes from 30 to 40 years before being ready to be cut, then we must respect nature, gives sense to time and use the wood only to make beautiful chairs. Our wood comes only from FSC certified suppliers with whom we have had a long-standing relationship, some cases started by grandfather; after arriving at our company the wood is put in our big warehouse and waits, waits and waits again; as long as two years before being used to make chairs. Our wood is dried in a natural way, this process takes from 12 to 24 months, so the wood grains are not stressed and it remains solid and flexible
our products are the result of a mix of natural and mechanical processes, if those two processes are linked in a harmonious way the outcome will be a masterpiece
